Carved Gold Leaf

There are two basic ways of carving; first is called incised carving, which is when you take out the wood in a "v" pattern, this is the most popular way. And then there is relief carving, which is when you remove the background leaving the letter. Sign foam TM and mahogany are the only materials we use for carving. All of our carved signs are done by hand carving. We seal, prime, finish coat and then gild our signs with genuine 23k gold leaf.
